It’s summer time and I thought there would be no better time than the present to review the Benefit’s best-selling bronzer – Hoola!
Personally, I have found bronzer a very difficult make-up item to properly like, let alone love.
I found the usual shimmery dust off-putting and was very weary of getting an orange face. Or fake dirt mark look across my cheekbones since I have very pale skin! But after seeing the benefits of contouring I could not resist trying out some bronzer for myself.
As always I started with a budget brand then bought a more high-end product. I love so many of Benefit’s products that it was without question that I decided to try out one of their pressed powders first. I settled on Benefit’s Hoola, and boy I am so glad that I did.

Hoola is a silky matte powder. (None of that scary beauty pageant glitter for me, thank you.) It comes in a cute compact with a mirror and a brush, however, I prefer to use other brushes in my collection for the application. The bronzer glides across my cheeks and forehead effortlessly, it does, however, come across quite pigmented on my skin but I use my Real Techniques Contouring Brush to blend it out very easily.
It adds a touch of colour to my skin and livens up my face with a beautiful glow. I have had many compliments on days that I’m wearing Hoola. I’m also pleased to say that the colour seems to suit many skin tones and does not come across orange – which was one of the biggest reasons for my apprehension towards bronzer in the first place.

For me, Hoola is a winner, and it has definitely changed up my makeup routine. I’m looking forward to trying out lighter, more natural make-up looks this summer with a glow-to-go!
Have you tried Hoola before, what are you thoughts on the product?

I find it so hard to find branzers that actually match my pale skin tone, but I've wanted to try this for ages because it seems like it actually will! It looks lovely on you!

It is rather fabulous if I do say so myself, perhaps give amazon or ebay a shot? xx
This is what I love about Hoola – it seems to suit most skintones x
