I’m quite similar to many other bloggers – I am a self-confessed shopaholic.
I like buying pretty things, it makes me feel good about myself. It’s an addiction which causes a drain to my bank account each month. But as much I as I love buying things in general, I have no resistance towards footwear. Then add on the extra temptation of sale shopping and you have my money in your hands already.
The two pairs above were an absolute bargain from online sales shopping. I have an endless collection of black boots that I cannot part with. What do you mean I don’t need more than 5 pairs? I’m Scottish, I wear boots all year round and clearly these Kurt Geiger babies are for the evening! Seriously though, Shoeaholics were selling all of their shoes for £39 a pair. The Spur boot by Kurt Geiger is an investment if anything.
I was also in need of new trainers, and staying true to my teen years I still prefer a pair of vans or converse. I couldn’t believe it when I saw that a staple pair is £50 at RRP. I’m sure only a few years ago any pair above £40 was more expensive due to a limited edition design. I must be getting old. Then I saw these beauties in the ASOS sale, with the beautiful mesh print I thought they would be perfect for walking around Florence next month – they are simple and versatile! Plus, I don’t want to be wearing heels through cobbled streets and all my sandals seem to break my feet after an hour or so of wear. Not fun. They are now sold out in the shade Marshmallow, but they still have the black version on offer.
What do you think of my footwear purchases? Is there a particular item you can never resist when shopping?
