Hello Corinne

Sunday Chat

August 16, 2015 0 Comments
Sorry guys – I missed my Sunday chat last week – probably because I had a massive migraine at the weekend and then missed out on posting so I have two weeks chat to caught y’all up on. Aren’t you guys lucky?!

Things I have been loving last week:
A special shout out to my best friend Emma who dragged me out on Wednesday evening to see her boyfriend’s band ‘The Cairds,’ perform at the Hard Rock Cafe in Glasgow. It was a good night, and I don’t head out often. Well, not that often for someone that is 20. I enjoyed their indie sound. If you are interested hearing their stuff go check out their facebook page in the link above!
In the small village that I grew up in once a year they have a highland games event that attracts lots of people. I’ve never seen another tiny place make such a big thing of a gala day, but it is nice because it has an association with home. There are Pipe bands, tug of war teams, caber toss (where grown men toss a massive log) stalls, food vans, and all sorts. The highlight for me was stopping by the Owl-Magic tent and getting to see lots of different owls! I got to hold a Milky Eagle Owl called Galaxy. she was beautiful. It was amazing to see such a majestic creature up close and touch her feathers, but she was very heavy – apparently Milky Eagle Owls are the world’s fourth heaviest owl.
Things I have been loving this week:
I’ll be honest with everyone, I have a bit of a rubbish week. A couple of panic attacks, an examination and a tidying up after Willow because she is bleeding everywhere. She is in season. But that’s okay not every week is going to be oh my god amazing, and I’m away on holiday very soon so it swings in roundabouts.
Song of the week: Foster The People – Pumped Up Kicks
What have you guys been up to?
