It is getting closer and closer to hitting my two-year blogging milestone, and like a very typical blogger, I jumped on the opportunity on a sunny day in Scotland to take outfit shots.
Dress: AllSaints | Bag: Giulia Mina | Sunglasses: Calvin Klein (old)
I was in a super good mood (thank you, sun for appearing!), and (thank you, new haircut). These days I gladly accept any confidence boost on offer and jump at these opportunities for photos. My self-esteem is not at a high-point after gaining some weight. Funnily enough, the weight gain has coincided with months of on-again/-off again employment. I’m really trying to appreciate the little things to stay upbeat. I have successfully transferred to a new university, and will be able to continue with my studies in September. I am looking ahead and feeling a bit more positive. In the meantime, I will keep listening to this summer’s feel good song ‘Can’t stop this feeling’ by Justin Timberlake.
I discovered I made a major whoopsie upon editing these pictures – I cut off my feet in the shots. I have to admit I was distracted trying to keep on eye on a very excitable Willow whilst taking these snaps, and instead of dwelling on it I’m going to brush it off. I was wearing my usual summer flats – Kurt Geiger espadrilles which are so easy to slip on and go. I would like to take a moment to appreciate my favourite summer 2016 sale bargain: the Itaca Check Dress by AllSaints, which I bought with an extra 20% off in store. (Seriously, if you have an eye on anything from AllSaints in the summer sale now is a brilliant time to grab it with the code: EXTRA20.) I enjoy wearing dresses as much as possible in the summer. There is something great about throwing on a dress, with some sunglasses and enjoying the breeze in the summer sun.
