Cute Twisted Braided Bun

Corinne - November 30, 2016

I’m by no means an expert when to comes to hair, however, I do enjoy playing around with new hair styles on occasion. img_0667 img_0640 img_0664 img_0670

I wanted to create a hairstyle that was easy to do and would stay put all day. If you like a cute but messy hair bun then this look might be for you!

First up, I brushed my hair into a middle parting and separated the strands. I did two high ponytails, leaving some loose strand around my hairline and secured the ponytails with mini hair bobbles. I braided each ponytail using the ‘dutch braid’ method. Finally, I twisted the braids around one another and secure with many kirby grips. I was then good to go out!

Do you have an effortless go-to-hairdo?

  • On Christmas Eve we went to see the Last Jedi at the IMAX and I couldn’t resist putting my hair into Rey Buns. SW VIII was amazing, and quite possibly my new fave out of all the Star Wars films, all the elements of a classic Star Wars film was included and there were twists along the way. I really liked the connection felt between Rey and Kylo, and thought Rose and Finn’s storyline was sweet. The porgs were well cute and I want a crystal fox critter for a pet ❤️
