About Corinne

Welcome to Hello Corinne. This is a personal style, beauty and lifestyle blog created by me – Corinne – and is based in Scotland. I’m 23, and a Bachelors of Science Psychology graduate with honours.

I started this blog as ‘Lady Ellumina‘ in 2014 (18th August is my blogiversary – send cookies) with the intention of having my own little space on the internet to share my experiences and anything with a creative influenceBlogging has become so important to me – it has raised my self-confidence, as well as being a well-kept documentation of my personal journey, and I have been welcomed into such a wonderful and supportive community.  I mainly share personal style, & beauty posts, as well as lifestyle ideas on food, travel and well-being. On occasion, my furry babies Sayuri, Willow & Haku will have a mention too. Essentially, I try to incorporate anything I fancy writing about. I believe it is important to have a creative outlet and blogging has become my current choice – at least this way there is an excuse for my shopaholic ways! I try to post weekly (every Friday). If you have any questions about my blog feel free to contact me at info@hellocorinne.com.

Why rebrand from “Lady Ellumina” to “Hello Corinne” ?

The name “Ellumina” originated from my more frequent gaming days. It was a play on the word ‘illuminate’ as paladins are warriors of the light. But the further I took my blog the less I felt an attachment to the name, therefore, I launched a rebrand of the website at the start of 2016.

If you have any questions message me over on social media, and I’ll happy to answer!!

  • Today I gave a tired bumble bee a wee drink of sugar water, it was struggling to move about on the grass then after a drink it flew away 🐝 #savethebees
After looking online it seems that it is only okay to do this when a bee is exhausted as leaving sugar water constantly out for them creates a McDonalds or KFC chain for bees!
